SINCERITY IN EDUCATING OTHERS

in teacher's profession, it is very important to have sincerity in doing the job.

Experience teaches us that those who are sincere in executing whatever small,
seemingly insignificant tasks are entrusted with greater responsibilities.
These are the individuals who are more likely to succeed and live fulfilling lives in the long run.
People
in general feel comfortable dealing with
sincere individuals.
 Employers seek to find
sincere workers
who maximize work-time and
produce expected results;
men and women seek to find
sincere companions
to share their lives with and to keep the spark of love burning for a lifetime; teachers feel more motivated and encouraged when students
show sincerity
in learning and participation in class; mothers untiringly nurture and care for their infants out of
sincere love for them;
 and individuals constantly attempt to
be sincere
to their inner selves.
this shows how important for all of us to have the sincerity in ourselves.
it pays to be sincere.

GET TO KNOW YOUR STUDENTS

As teacher-to-be, i might not be surprise if most of us will be very stress in facing the students nowadays in future.
no one would know whether we will be accepted by the students and colleagues. one way to ease this uneasiness, we can try to cope with the students' style.
there are factors that affect the style of learning of the students
which are:
age

personality

attitude

anxiety

teaching style

these factors should be paid more attention by the teachers to ensure that they do not use the wrong way of approaches.
in general, every class, need different kind of approaches based on the above factors.

GET INVOLVED IN YOUR CHILD'S EDUCATION

Currently, there are so many parents who are not so interested in their child's education.
they are so busy in getting promotion and bonuses. sometimes, there are parents who are actually
do not have chances
even to meet with their children.
how to involved with the child's education
if they do not even have time
 to meet them and
spend some precious time with them?
these parents should realize that the children are really demanding
attention from their parents especially when relating to their studies.
how to get involved with the child's education???

JOIN THE PARENTS AND TEACHERS ASSOCIATION

AND

BE PROACTIVE

PTA members can actually change the life of
their child
 and
they can also affect change in the lives of
many other children.
through the annual meeting,
they can actually complaint about anything that associated with the schools or give suggestions to improve the current condition.

be proactive
means that parents should not wait for the teacher to extend an invitation to them, soliciting their involvement.
If possible, parents should take their child to school on the first day and
have a short conversation with their
child's teachers.
It is important for teachers to know that the parents plan on being an essential part of their child's academic excellence.

OWH...IT SLIPPED FROM MY MIND AGAIN!!

Frequently, people tend to forget the things that they actually have learnt.

some says that they tend to forget when they have no time to revise or they have a long gap between the time they actually learn the lesson and the examination.

that is why they use this excuse to study last minute as i they will remember the things that they have study the night before.
there are some tips to help these people to remember things longer

  • Process information as deeply as possible.
  • Seek to connect new information with previous knowledge.
  • Study in the same format as you will be tested in.
  • Elaborate: put in effort, make the material meaningful, and rehearse new information.
  • Avoid going off on tangents.
  • For long term memory retention, space your reviews at regular intervals.

BULLIES...AGAIN!!!

i do not know actually what happened
 to the young generations nowadays.
from their point of view,
bullies are just some common  cases that will happen to anybody.

 i don't think
this kind of mind set should gradually
be in our young generations' minds. Some interesting data was collected from the some survey:
  • Bullies divide classmates into two groups – those that receive affection and targets.
  • Targets were people that didn’t count.
  • Bullies cared only about getting approval from classmates of the same sex.
  • Boys didn’t care what girls thought.
  • Boys picked on classmates that peers did not like.
  • Mean girls did not care about the opinions of male classmates.
  • Girls seemed to approve of boys that bullied boys.
  • Overweight children were often targets without regard to race, gender, socioeconomic status, or academic success.
  • Bullies are not always social misfits.
this would be the time for all sides to start paying more attention to this problem. no one could actually guess what is the real effect of this problem in the future.

as a conclusion

MALE OR FEMALE???DOES IT REALLY MATTER??

There’s long been a debate as to whether or not female professors are treated differently,
by their students, than male professors.

do you prefer this??

or

this??

Nonetheless, it's clear that men and women have a different teaching experience in the classroom.
At the college level, male professors are the norm and because of this male professors who act as society expects them to
are seen as competent and as an authority figure.
On the other hand,
 female professors who act “feminine”
are seen as less knowledgeable;
however, if a female professor violates society’s expectations of
what she is suppose to act like
then that professor is unlikeable and seen as less nurturing.
So what’s a female professor to do?
Not only do female professors have to be professional and knowledgeable,
but students also expect them to be nurturing, understanding, and more supportive. Unfortunately,
that means students expect female professors
to excuse a student’s lack of responsibility in class.
It also means that a student who is failing the class expects
the female professor to give him/her a “break”
and if the professors says no then she is a “bad” professor and immediately becomes unlikable.
what should we do???
this is the world that we live in..right???

YOU DON'T LIKE ME, TEACHER???

some students keep asking, why their teachers always scold them and punished them in classes.

They also keep wondering
why it is always me being the one to get scold of.

did the teacher hate them so much and make them as their punching bag??

ACTUALLY,
there are always reasons why the teachers keep making you as their 'punching bag' for them in class.
there might be something wrong with you.

  • You’ve made him angry with your actions or attitude
  • He has personal issues and he is taking it out on you.
                                           or

Maybe he doesn’t hate you...?

This one is short and sweet. Have you thought of the possibility that he actually doesn’t hate you? Maybe he is a strict teacher with all his students, and you might be taking it personally? Look closely at the difference between a bad teacher and strict teacher. Some professors are just unpleasant people, and you’re just going to have to get used to their way of teaching.
